I noticed there was no mention of Zenyatta Ventures, perhaps you wish to take a look at the links below. A lot has happened with the company in the past few months, information not available at the time this article was written. Good reading and research for Graphite fans.

Below is a research document from the US Dept. of Energy / This document is the summary of a scalability study to address the current barriers in the production of Li Ion batteries/ Zenyatta’s Albany Graphite is clearly stated the only natural graphite used in this study. There are actually a couple of studies where the Albany Graphite is listed as their supplier if you dig deeper.
