That's not true. There would be a lot more mines out there if all it took was a resource (NOT, anyone?)
Nobody's talking much about the fact that SJL is selling its coated graphite for $2000/ton. I believe that's ZEN's estimated costs for purifying its graphite alone, never mind coating and all the ancillary costs associated with producing the final product.
Since they used an average price of $7500/tonne in their PEA, and that took an average of $12000/tonne for batteries, that would seem to be a problem, wouldn't it? And could the same scenario not unfold for graphene? People are quoting extremely high numbers for graphene sales. But those are numbers caused by scarcity and production costs. When graphene gets into scaled up production, who's to say where prices will settle to (especially if these processes involving things like cooking oil pan out).
