I am glad that you 2 had this discussion as it really helps to put Edigs future into perspective.

My conclusion is simple;

1) Edig wins on the legal front and its future is very bright!

2) Edig gets a partial win and we are stuck in pergatory

3) Edig can't get a legal win and we are done

imo

p.s

I don't believe for a second that this company would go through as much legal wargames

as they have just to survive for the basic benifit of the BOD...

They are a small company fighting a very large battle and as Doni has so well pointed out the ipr will be the defining crossroads for Edig.

Edig and Handel have shown us that they are deadly serious about standing their ground and taking the opprotunity ( any and all ) to push the patents forward!
