Message: Why being with core drilling when other cheaper ways may be possible?

This question has been raised on another board. It's understood that cheaper does not always mean better. Would be interested in how Jim thinks about the drilling strategy.

"If you can drill 2 or 3 air rotary holes for every core hole, I would vote for the rotary holes, at least until a discovery is confirmed. Then the real money flows in and you have the luxury of core drilling." -poster gitreal, elsewhere

He has also mentioned RC as an alternative.

The depth limitations of RC and air rotary may have been the reason for going with core. But now that there are indications of potential shallow ore has the thinking about drilling methods changed?
