Paul X It's my understanding that the permits currently in place for phase 1 drilling expire in roughly 6 months. What is the likelihood of Funding the drilling within this short timeline since you have been working on this project for many years?
Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. Mr. Briscoe talks about financing in his latest interview with Agoracom at minute 22 (Shareholder Questions, Part 2http://www.smallcapepicenter.com/.../AGORACOM-LBSR.../). The expiration date does not mean the process must halt and begin anew, only that an extension to a future date needs ASLD positive sanction. Of course we would like to have drills in the ground ASAP. Adds Jim: "While we have been working on this project for a long time, this is not unusual for a completely hidden target, that has never in 10,000 years seen metal prospecting activity. The activity is compounded by new (now several years old) Arizona State Land requirements which are serial in nature – that is we do one operation at a time because the State essentially requires it, and have 2 to 3 months (60 to 90 days to evaluate it and issue a permit to go on to the next phase or send it back for re-do or augmentation et. etc. Like it or not that is what it is. However, now we have completed all of the necessary permits and exploration data collection and interpretation. We have transitioned into a different phase and are ready to drill now with no waiting except for money. A different paradigm if you will."

"In spite of the challenging financial market we are making progress and are being contacted by substantial money sources. But these are in the initial phase. Frequently these go slowly but sometimes very fast – we never know. Every day I talk to potential funders so the search goes on until it results in the money to drill. This is a worldwide search."
