A friend who is not into mining just reminded me that a Trump administration, and a Republican congress likely means repeal of Dodd-Frank. That means that certain federally regulated institutions, like banks and securities firms, will again be able to enter what have recently been designated as "speculative" ventures, like mining opportunities.

Kicking the banks and brokers out of this sector is what contributed to such damages to mining stocks in the last half dozen years. ...looks like significantly good times may be returning to this sector quite soon, thanks to Conservative voters.
