AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

Fodder?  I think this is a nonstory.

https://roskill.com/news/rare-earths-mountain-pass-sold-chinese-led-consortium/

The US has plenty of rare earths.  However, China positioned itself to be the worlds major supplier, and they did so in other areas as well (by subsidizing those industries).  Does that lead to fair trade?  No, it is the first step toward trade wars but without the imposition of tariffs.

There may be a lag time for us to create all the rare earths we need without China in the supply chain, but we have it, especially if free-market pricing is allowed to prevail.

As far as what Hay Mountain may contribute, those possible ores are very deep and will be among the last to be extracted.  Let's focus on copper, gold, and moly for now.
