Since the beginning of the year, gold has risen sharply in six of the world’s top currencies – Indian rupee (+29.5%); Chinese yuan (+22.52%); U.S. dollar (+25.75%); British pound (+32.12%); European euro (+29.54%), and Japanese yen (+20.76%).
