Imagine one has ONLY 3 possible courses of action: A. Telling an Amoral Truth, B. Lying, or C. Silence.
Which course is ethical?
Well, I suppose it depends on "what" you are: an honest person might choose the Amoral Truth, The Crook might to lie, and the Lawyer might to remain silent . . . and each considering himself 'ethical'.
The silence does not nurture any measure of trust - it consumes any that was/ is and is fertile ground for dis-trust.
Just because one is paranoid, it doesn't mean no one is out to get them.
