What I mean by "THE discovery" is the CRD or Carbonate Replacement Deposit (formerly?  a skarn).  The "footprint" at 5,000 feet is not of much exploration interest in this market for metals.  The CRD should be above the porphyry; the primary interest now, not the deeper stuff.  CRD is a different and likely richer deposit.  It's better to have bonanza grades at 2-3 thousand feet than at 5,000, no?

If I misunderstood an analogy about a party with no one coming, it's because that is so unlikely as to be very nearly impossible.  Why would people like Gates and Musk want to be in Africa when they may have far better returns in Arizona and with less "country risk," too?  They and the biggest mining companies in the world will be bidding against each other for pieces of Hay Mountain if we hit bonanza grades, especially if they approach those seen at Bisbee.
