Here is a breakdown of some of the Vilcoro releases over the last 3 or 4 years with their links and Hi-lites attached. There is actually quite a lot known about the Vilcoro. Also keep in mind because of its strategic location centered in a very well known and prolific zone of mineralization and world class mines, I believe this property is very well known to geologists and industry in the region who would love to get their hands on it.

Things of note below:

Fairly extensive underground workings

Numerous sampling programs have taken place

geophysics completed

Two trends identified

Massive anomalous zone identified under main trend

epithermal deposit similar to Yanacocha

Disseminated open pitable

There is much more known about the Vilcoro than many realize.

Initial field observations have confirmed that underground workings on the manto zone are more extensive that have previously been recognized. The manto is an extremely well-defined unit that stands out as a dark layer sandwiched between lighter-coloured layers of volcanic tuff that have been intensely argillicized and cut by numerous manganese (pyrolusite) and gypsum veins and veinlets.Previous sampling of these wallrocks confirm the presence of anomalous gold (500 to 1000 ppb gold across 1.0 meters). The “darkness” of the manto unit is due to coatings of manganese.Hand-lens inspection of the manto suggests that there is no silicification in this gold-bearing unit, which is unusual (most gold mineralization in Peru, and elsewhere in the world, is associated with silicification).Large samples of the manto were collected for petrological examination to test for subtle indications of silicification. Two 1.0-metre-wide channel samples previously taken from themanto returned values of 29.1g/t (0.84 opt) and 56.8g/t (1.65 opt) of gold.

Over the next 90 days, the program calls for 100 meters of underground development to enlarge and lengthen an adit traced back to colonial times,

Gold assays from the 106 rock samples ranged from 0.018 to 842 g/t across an average sample width of 1.48 meters.Discounting a double-checked assay value of 842 g/t Au (24.55 opt Au) obtained across a 0.9-m-wide structure, the 105remaining samples had a weighted arithmetic average grade of 3.0 g/t gold.No under-limit (< 5ppb Au) assays were obtained, and only 6 samples returned assays of less than 0.1 g/t gold.Anomalous gold is associated with anomalous silver (average 5.35 g/t), manganese (average 6,839 ppm), antimony (average 2,954 ppm), arsenic (average 725 ppm) and mercury (average 5.35 ppm), suggesting an epithermal affiliation. Almost all samples were collected from five historic underground workings denominated Tunnel Manto (which is actually a labyrinth of tunnels), Tunnel Eucalipto, Tunnel Juan, Tunnel Alto and Tunnel Loro.To date, approximately170 meters of underground working have been sampled on the Property.

Sampling in Tunnel Manto, Tunnel Eucalipto and Tunnel Juan has identified a continuous zone of gold-silver mineralization measuring 120 meters in an east-west direction, 25 meters in a north-south direction and open to the east, west and south.Approximately 1,000 meters along strike and to the east of Tunnel Manto, previous reconnaissance exploration identified an area of anomalous soils carrying up to 0.49 g/t Au,2,647 ppm manganese, 557 ppm arsenic, 249 ppm antimony, and 2.01 ppm mercury. This is precisely the signature of anomalous elements in the tunnel samples, suggesting that mineralization might extend for a considerable distance to the east.

Results from 365 channel samples and 36 quality-control check samples have confirmed widespread disseminated gold mineralization, and so far have defined two mineralized trends on the Property; the Main Trend and the South Trend.

The Main Trend has now been traced for a strike length of 1,900 meters, for a cross-strike average width of 60 meters, and across a vertical interval of 450 meters.

Results of a soil sampling survey have confirmed and defined a high-contrast gold-in-soil anomaly within the Main Trend.Geneva has an option to earn a 66% interest in the Property from St. Elias.

The Main Trend is defined by a gold-in-soil anomaly extending east-northeasterly for a strike distance of approximately 1.7 km across widths ranging from 100 to 375 meters, and spanning a vertical extent of almost 400 meters. It is closed in all directions except to the east where a precipice obstructs further sampling. In addition, the Main Trend gold-in-soil anomaly encompasses eight gold zones previoulsy identified from rock channel sampling of trenches, outcrops and underground workings.

•Between April and December, 2007, work on the Property included geological mapping and alteration mapping.During that period, a total of 665 rock samples and 781 soil samples were submitted for testing. In addition, 107 rock samples were analyzed using PIMA (portable infrared mineral analyzer) analysis. This work resulted in outlining a mineralized area that has been traced for 1.8kilometers along strike. It is up to 400 meters wide, and spans a vertical depth of 400 meters.

•Detailed analyses indicate that the VilcoroGold Property hosts a significant epithermal deposit.Epithermal mineralization typically forms larger-size, but lower-grade ore deposits compared to lode–gold veins.

In order to efficiently outline the entire trend and provide detailed targets for an upcoming exploration-drilling program, roughly 20 kilometers of geophysics have just been completed. The program included Induced Polarization, Resistivity and Magnetometer surveys.
