I am starting to fear they will just wait till the Christmas season is over before releasing them.

Maybe someone like PC can confirm this, but I was under the impression that once they get the assays back, whenever they come back, they're forced to release them immediately. They are material information, after all.

Still, apparently you're going to see volume on the Venture disappear in the next week or two as Xmas season approaches. Trading gets tough for a little while. And while I don't know the assay company's business, my own engineering company closes for two weeks over the Xmas holidays.

So, basically, if the assays aren't out in 2 weeks, I doubt they'll be out til sometime in January. It's "shit or get off the pot" time.
