OK, Please disregard my previous post/question about voting. I figured out that in order to recommend a post, I need to go to the bottom of the post and click on "[x#] Recommendations" in order to recommend the post. IMO, this is not at all intuitive for the user. I just went back and recommended all of the recent posts by Bernard and Patrick.
