Things seem to be progressing.  Electrovaya has hired Steven Berkenfeld as a Special Advisor.

I think this is for the purpose of helping Electrovaya work it's way thru a split.  I believe they plan to split off the Lab to a seperate company.  What would go with the Lab?  Besides the personnel they own the pattent to the new solid state cell.  They have established (under the R&D Dep) a cathode manufacturing line in Michigan, (Pilot).  There they plan to 3D print solid state cells.  3D Printed cell are much less expensive to manufacture and environmentally sound.  If the solid state cell has higher energy density and higher power and is less expensive to manufactuer then they have a sure winner.  Electrovaya has what is needed to attract investment to build out this process.

The current manufacturing part of Electrovaya buys cells from a Toll manufacturer in Taiwan using Electrovaya's patent.  There is another company in Canada (Private company) that also buys the same cells as Electrovaya uses.  They assemble what?  Forklift batteries of course.  Right accross the street from Electrovaya's old building.  At least it used to be.  I don't know if they have moved to larger facilities.  They have announced that they plan to build a cell manufacturing plant in Canada.  They also announced they have ordered manufacturing equipment from a Taiwan Company.  Would that be the same company that built the equipment now being used to manufacture the EV-44 cells in Taiwan?  Of course.  I am expecting Electrovaya to merge with this company and jointly build the plant.  After all, Electrovaya owns the patent!!  They will get a government grant and a loan.

So,  by the end of 2022 Electrovaya will have a hand in TWO cell manufacturing plants with the solid state cell production in the US.  Will they get US money?   With the state of the US govt now, Who knows??

Anyway looks like a lot of money to be made to me...JMHO
