New developments at Electrovaya.  They announced Q2 earnings and had a conference call.  Call link.

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4510068-electrovaya-inc-eflvf-ceo-sankar-das-gupta-on-q2-2022-results-earnings-call-transcript

In that call they said they are working on an automated manufacturing process for their new "Hybrid" cell part solid state.  They noot only designed a new cell but also a cell that has maunfacturability.  They have evidently been told or realize it isn't any good to have a perfect cell if it can not be manufctured economically.  Their existing cell EV44 an NMC cell can cycle 10,000 cycles before it is anywhere near 80% but is high cost to manufacture.

The following takenfrom the Q2 conference call transcript.

"We are seeing excellent cycle life and performance and the cycle life trend is anticipating exceeding the needs for the electric passenger market, which targets about 800 cycles or more with 80% energy capacity retention. We anticipate exceeding that target."

"For this market, Electrovaya's strategy is to successfully enter through a technology leap. Specifically, Electrovaya is working on a solid-state battery which could become a disruptive technology in this sector. Our efforts are progressing well and quickly. We are filing key patents and building up our IP base. We are making hundreds of coin cells and now have scaled up to larger single layer and multilayer power cells."

It looks like they are delaying putting out information until the pattent process is complere.  This schedule looks like it is compatible with LAC and their schedule.  What a conicidence.........

How does Electrovya's new cell compare to others?  Read the following article linked below.
