AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

TM,

I agree with the sentiment that the sale of NOT is akin to a national travesty. It is a testament to the complete failure of both the Provincial and Federal governments - they are both asleep at the wheel.

However, I don't see the Feds blocking the sale due to National Security interests. After all, the Aussies are part of the Five Eyes Alliance, so if we can't trust them, who can we trust? That said, it will be some time yet before anything comes out of the ground, so there's plenty of time for the Feds to put in restrictions/limitations on where the minerals can go (e.g. not to China for example). We just need a federal government that is willing to actually stand up and do something other than try to look pretty.

On the bright side, as you have mentioned in previous posts, Twiggy and his team may finally get things moving, and that will be for the betterment of any involved - the FN's, Ontario, Canada, etc. (jobs, roads, infrastructure, the list goes on ...) -  just not us lowly retail shareholders.

This isn't the first time, and it won't be the last, that retail shareholders get the short (brown?) end of the stick.

GLTA,

Hobbit
