I disagree, investors need a story told right and commitment from the company.
Compare other market caps of small companies (that you know off and have been discussed here) but also bigger companies that have secured way bigger financings even after being bankrupt than POET.
So, LWLG and Rockley had the possibility to create more interest in their stock than POET, for whatever reason, and it may have been only short term, true.
However, where was our hype? Ahh sorry I almost forgot, we had that hype, but than management sold shares at the top and issued a notice to the regulators that there are no known reasons for this share price increase.
I don't have any problem with that, just with the 70% decline afterwards and the bad follow up. Why they didn't raise money, that is now desperately needed instead of selling shares?
Management once said "shareholder value, shareholder value, shareholder value".
I have also never seen a notice that the company isn't aware of any reasons for a steep share decline, anyway. I think it's just me (the shareholder) that is talking the stock down, all because of me and others that think similar. Yes, it's easy to blame the people for their frustrations when they have >100k paper losses, once again, after being 100% up and still supporting the company and never selling due to the statement la made by management.
The fish smells from the head.
Fool me once....
I will put 5 USD into the "phrases kitty" as soon as one share is again worth 5 USD.
Going back into my corner now, I have enough!
