TOINV ... for many of those reasons, China is a "bad actor" to most of the world. They send their students, scientists, spies, and moles around the world to collect and "steal" everything they can, and share virtually nothing of their own. They are in open competition with the U.S. for world dominance down the road.
Yet, with our potential connections on the BoD and others you mention, it could be an absolutely ideal place to partner and develop business revenue quickly, due to their system and absolute and unchallenged central control. And China loves nothing more than a leg up on the rest of the world, and epigenetics is "potentially" a significant game changer in medicine and healthcare.
But maybe those in control of RVX, don't want to partner with China, for fear of alienation with the West and many more potential markets, or they just can't quite find the right deal that moves things forward NOW and leaves the door open to broader merkets, maintaining some control?? ... don't know?! ... and ALL conjecture on my part.
Just trying to put the puzzle together, with VERY limited information haha ... especially China, with their serious NEED, our connections, their type of authoritarian governance, their desire for clout, and our desperation. Seems like a match made in heaven, for both, unless world market opportunity and politics are a problem.
Again, really just guessing. But I have been around the medical industry for 30+ years, launched many products, helped launch a few brand new companies from the ground up, and even bought and sold a few smaller companies. I am not bragging about credentials, but rather have just enough knowledge and experience to be 100% baffled and confused about RVX strategy and effort ... that is my point, they make NO SENSE at all. And those patent years that are slowly drip-drip-dripping away represent HUGE dollar projections for a potential buyer, not to mention where we are going with our "8 year lead in epigenetics" ??!
