Buckeyes, I got a kick out of your statement "Apples & Oranges compared with RVX, we were only a $10,000,000 revenues company,". Oh boy, it would be a dream if RVX ever generated $10,000,000.
It brought to mind all of the presentations over the last 13 years where Don talked about generating licensing revenues for apabetalone or one or more of the other 2449 molecules RVX has in storage.
- He has not produced a nickle.
On ther other hand I have a couple of puzzling quiries/thoughts;
- Although I do not have objective analysis it strikes me that turnover at RVX and I think even ZCC within a year of Dr Cherrington's departure is relatively low. Given my level of frustration with RVX this strikes me as remarkable.
- Also, there does not seem to be any trash talk on the street about either company. Now I am far removed from being in the loop but if things were nasty e.g. with creditors, wouldn't we hear it? What I mean here is that former employees and suppliers don't seem to be complaining.
I sense that there is an aura about Don which I think is a carry over from the early days and the manila envelop period. It seems like people have this unwarranted sense that Don is "always about to deliver and he never does, ... and that is OK".
It is a strange way to manage a company, and, mushroom management, while prevalent in many companies, is not the best way to create shareholder equity because it creates suspision.
Why aren't all of those dominant insiders that I listed a post back not stepping up to the plate to get on with BoM2?
