"Is it possible that... ?"

Anything is possible. Having said that, note that this has been going on for well over a year, and the most recent press release includes the first mention of the interested party by name. That fact would suggest that things are coming to head, because there are typically non-disclosure agreements barring such revelations until the parties agree otherwise.

I'm not sure that Genesis would have changed their feelings on disclosure if they themselves remained under some sort of outside financing complication(s). Personally, I think the lawyers are buring up their Fax lines while they are fine tuning the terms.

Otherwise, here are a couple of references to further complicate our musings on the agreement. Some of this is a bit old, but relevant none-the-less.

"A two percent NSR on all metals except for uranium; ...A scaling NSR on the sale of uranium, whereby the seller will be entitled to a two percent NSR if the price of uranium is at $40.00 a pound and the royalty will increase by one tenth of a percent for each dollar a pound over $40.00 the price of uranium moves. The royalty will be payable monthly, based on the price of uranium the month prior." [Emphasis added.]
