Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
Are we saying the same thing? I'm not sure.
DFR split a couple of times on it's rise from 50 cents. Had it never split, those who got in at 50 cents were later able to realize 174 dollars per share ON THOSE SHARES, distregarding the splits.
LBSR has not split in recent years, and I don't think they will do so again, at least not anytime soon, nor before the stock is rising dramatically. ...but they don't have to. Reverse splits were most often demanded by outside financial groups who were once willing to underwrite new offerings of a mining companies, explorers and producers. These were the financial institutions who are no longer in this market thanks to new banking regulations following the Financial Crisis.
What matters is the capitalized value of the company, and not so much how many or how few shares it has out. In otherwords, a 10 fold increase in the value of the company is still a 10 fold increase whether or not the outstanding share count has changed.
If you got into LBSR at 5 cents, and never sold on the way down, or never bought shares below .002 is another matter against the possibilities going foward. Either way, you go bust, or you make some decent money.
My only compaint is that I've not been able to raise much cash to buy more at and below these levels. ...still trying though, and maybe I'll get lucky before drilling begins.
