Yes, that's possible, but I think this initiative comes from LSM in their self-interest, not a prospective partner.  I'm guessing that it may have something to do with sediment-hosted Carlin-type gold in the Hay Mountain area - Earp Ridge? -, keeping May Mountain hard rock mining out of the picture.
