Here is a totally speculative, maybe grasping at straws thought that I've been stewing over. After stewing over that 8k for a week or so, it occurred to me that the name change could well be a very important legal technicality that, while seeming minor or peripheral, might have been just a small detail in a contract of some type that needed to be taken care of before the next step. And that such a name change would be a detail that would happen in the late stages of a contract. Then the news made me feel even more like this might be the case. But again, this is all the very optimistic of my views. Now the pessimist is sneaking back in again...
