When searching electronic documents and email they placed a limit on the search terms. I did one of these for lawyers at my old company, its a pain in the ass for the IT department to reproduce these documents. Especially when the lawyers keep coming back with additional search terms.

To add, I think this limits who will be included in the seaches, when you have 5000 employees you need a target group of individuals to search against and not the entire corp.
