paladin - ABL has had a positive effect on many humans. BoM had an 18.3% RRR on a 4200 patient year trial with a good safety profile. That trial also had a 63% reduction in CHF and it also showed a dramatic reduction in the cytokine storm that is now showing to be important for treating COVID patients. In addition to that ABL reduces inflammation. This was all proven in humans. All of this and more was proven in mice in the Australian study and the University of Nebraska study.

Canada has lost more than 20,000 lives to COVID just since May 2020 when RVX first applied for a COVID trial using ABL. The average stay in hospital for COVID patients in Canada is just over 11 days at an average cost of about $24,000 provided those patients did not have to go into the ICU where the costs escalate dramatically.

In this pandemic situation this is a classic example of incompetence in every direction one could look. For a drug that was in the first group of 10 drugs of the 63 that were derived from over 20,000 existing drugs sorted for positive effects on COVID patients in March and April 2020. Canada as a nation should have put the red carpet out for any drug developed by a Canadian company to battle this budding pandemic in April of 2020. Instead we have witnessed road blocks at every turn. Here we are 17 months later with not even a single human with COVID having even tested the drug.

If ABL happens to do everything in humans with COVID that it has already proven that it does in humans without COVID and mice with it, then the cost to Canadians will likely turn out to be greater than $100 billion collectively. Not only in medical costs but also in unnecessary Serb payments, lost productivity and on and on and on.

It's time this entire country gets behind this and everyone pushes every button of every politician and media person that exists in this country. The cost to every citizen is astronomical.
