That's what happened in April in my opinion....and imo there are lots of ways big money players can put the brakes on, they can put a boat load of shares up on the ask...even if they don't have them or are not looking to sell, and then they can go short if they're bought.
In February short interest was only 4,000 but by April that number exploded exponentially higher to over 200,000.....When you're dealing with a a stock that is thinly traded and tightly held, short selling of that magnitude can put the brakes on momentum pretty damn quick.
And whild shorts have been covering off since then, they still have work to do with over 70,000 shares still to go.....
